A warm Scottish welcome awaits you at our family run guest house and computer training centre. Set on a working hill farm at the heart of Glenholm between Peebles and Biggar in the Borders region of Scotland, whether you require relaxing holiday accommodation, bed and breakfast for a couple of nights, computer training, or a peaceful meeting place away from the distractions of the office, the Glenholm Centre will have something to offer you.

The Centre opened for accommodation on 22nd July 1998  after four and a half months of building and conversion work. We are members of the Scottish Tourist Board with whom we have a 3-star rating. We are also members of the Tweeddale Tourist Consortia and have Gold award accreditation with the Green Tourism Business Scheme.

In addition to accommodation we are able to offer computer trainingbusiness meeting and small workshop/conference facilities, and provide an excellent base for walking within and exploring the Holmswater Glen. Several walks are clearly way-marked and interpreted.

To bring the glen and its wildlife closer to you, visitors have access to a hide overlooking a wildlife pond. Pictures from this pond are beamed straight into the Centre using remote controlled CCTV and these images can be viewed on television from the lounge, dining room and guest rooms. Younger and young at heart visitors will enjoy looking for the animals, pond dipping or identifying trees in our Millennium Wood. There is even a small course (or large pitch 'n' putt) for the golf enthusiast. All of this is part of the Glenholm Wildlife Project.

In collaboration with our neighbours Bairds Wines, we are also able to combine wine tasting at their wine centre with a stay and meal in the comfort and convenience of the Glenholm Centre. Please contact us if this interests you.

The Glenholm Centre specialises in the short computing break, an opportunity to learn more about computers in relaxing surroundings with plenty of time to explore the hills and scenery of the area.

As the Centre develops so will these pages, so we hope you will return and enjoy your voyage of discovery through this part of Scotland's Borders region.
